Beginner and Advanced Dog Obedience is
held on Monday or Tuesday evenings, classes vary. Classes are 5 weeks
long. 1 hour each week. Cost is $100 per dog.
The Beginner dogs are taught commands such as Sit, Stay, Down, Come and Heel on
leash, while in a group setting.
The Advanced classes pick up from where the Beginners leave off, and
are focused on performing the commands "off" leash in a group setting.
Private Lessons are available and
scheduled Monday - Saturday by appointment. Lessons are usually
1 hour in length and cover basic to advanced skills, one on one, in a
private setting. The cost is $90 per hour.
Day Training is a "jump start" program
for owners wanting to have their dog trained while at daycare.
Commands taught are Sit, Stay, Down, Come and Heel, on leash. The
program consists of 2 consecutive weeks of Day Training, (Monday - Friday
only... Saturday and Sunday not included) and two follow-up lessons with the
owner at the end of training. (must pay for daycare charges along with training)
The dog gets to train and then relax and play, then train again. This
gives the dog a pleasant association with training, and a reward to play
after lessons. Training cost is $400 per week, plus daycare
charges. Program is 2 weeks long.
FLYBALL
You and your dog participate in
this sport together. Flyball is a relay race between two teams
of four dogs.
Racing side by side, one dog from each team must go over four hurdles,
trigger a flyball box pedal, catch a ball and return over all four hurdles to
the start/finish line where the next dog eagerly awaits.
Flyball is a sport which any dog can
participate, regardless of breed, shape or size.
Cost is $120 per dog
