Jonathan Hoadley
started Shadow, his Australian Shepherd puppy in obedience training in 1996.  Shadow quickly completed his CD title winning a High in Trial placement at his first obedience trial.  Looking for new challenges, Jon started agility training with Shadow.  In the following seven years, Shadow has achieved agility titles in USDAA, NADAC, ASCA and AKC with advanced titles in NADAC, ASCA and AKC.  Shadow has only gotten better with age as this year he became the 2005 Australian Shepherd Club Overall Veteran Champion at the ASCA Agility Finals in Conyers, GA. 

Jon has recently started training Murphy, his newest Australian Shepherd.  Although Murphy has only competed in a couple of AKC and NADAC trials, he has already completed his Elite Regular title in NADAC and is competing at the Excellent level in AKC. 

Jon has trained with nationally and internationally ranked handlers such as Julie Daniels, Debbie Hutchinson and Jo Sermon.  He is a founding member and past President and Treasurer of the Southern Berkshire Agility Dog (SoBAD) club and has previously trained agility handlers at the Litchfield Hills Obedience Center.

Jon stresses positive training methods and believes that agility training helps you to build a better bond with your dog, while at the same time you and your dog are both having a lot of fun.
